Answer:

No. His independent variable is not controlled

Explanation:

Independent variables are those that the researcher can control and that influence, affect or determine other variables.

This type of variable is a determining factor, condition or cause for a given result, effect or consequence. It is the factor manipulated by the researcher in order to determine the relationship of the factor with the observed phenomenon, to see what influence it has on a possible result.

As we can see in the question above, it is not possible to control the independent variable in the student's experiment, for this reason his experiment cannot be considered well designed. In this experiment, it is even difficult to recognize which is the independent variable, since we have nothing to influence students' feelings about the school.

Complete the sentences to describe natural selection
Vikentia [17]
  1. The environment needs to change in order to natural selection to occur.

Reason:

Because, Natural selection is the differential survival and reproduction of individuals due to differences in phenotype. It is a key mechanism of evolution, the change in the heritable traits characteristic of a population over generations.

2. Population has some genetic variations.

Reason:

Genetic variation is essential for natural selection because natural selection can only increase or decrease frequency of alleles that already exist in the population. Genetic variation is caused by:

mutation and random mating between organisms

3. Nature select organism with specific traits to survive and reproduce.

Reason:

According to Charles Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection, organisms that possess heritable traits that enable them to better adapt to their environment compared with other members of their species will be more likely to survive, reproduce, and pass more of their genes on to the next generation.

sasho [114]

Answer:

c4 plants are better adapted to tropical climate.and C4 plants effectively obtains Co2 even when present in low concerntration.this is bc co2 has high affinity for c4 organic acids present in C 4 plants.because of presence of C4 organic acids, plants can tolerate saline and acidic soils.they are able to maintain high area Co2 fixation because of compactly arranged mesophyll cells.
