Answer:

After getting pregnant, an expecting mother should attain about fifteen to twenty-five pounds of weight, which is regarded as healthy and normal. The majority of expecting mothers only achieve a gain of about 2.5 pounds at the time of the first trimester. However, a gain in weight of about one pound in a week all through the left part of the pregnancy is considered quite normal.

The nurse should respond in a calm way and explain the effect of having to be pregnant. The nurse should respond to client that mothers who are usually pregnant gains weight than their weight before they were pregnant and it is only normal and not unhealthy as this happens and is already normal to happen.

Explain the process in which hormones secreted by the pancreas function with respect to increased glucose levels in the blood.
Karo-lina-s [1.5K]

Explanation:

When blood glucose levels increase above set point, the hormone insulin, which is produced in the beta cells of the Islets of Langerhans in the pancreas, is secreted into the bloodstream. The insulin binds to insulin receptors on cell membranes of liver cells, which results in accelerated conversion of glucose to glycogen, and a slower conversion of glycogen to glucose. This caused blood glucose levels to fall back to normal range again.

Eva8 [605]
It allows things to go in and out of the cell. Plants have rigid cell walls which makes it harder for things to go in and out if the cell. Animal cells are softer so they can diffuse substances easier
