Answer:

623 J

Explanation:

The quantity of heat released by the sample is quantified with the help of the First Law of Thermodynamics:

Q = (63\,g)\cdot \left(0.390\,\frac{J}{g\cdot ^{\circ}C} \right)\cdot (23^{\circ}C-48^{\circ}C)

Q = -614.25\,J

The best approximation is 623 J.

Answer:

Heat lost would be 606.375J

Explanation:

Mass = 63.0g

T1 = 48°C

T2 = 23°C

Specific heat capacity of copper (c) = 0.385J/g°C

Q = Mc∇T

Q = Mc(T₂ - T₁)

Q = 63 * 0.385 * (23 - 48)

Q = 24.255 * -25

Q = -606.375J

The heat lost would be 606.375J

10. A small gold nugget has volume of 0.87 cm3. What is its mass if the density of gold is 19.3 g/cm3?
bulgar [2K]

Answer:

16.791 grams

Explanation:

The density formula is:

d=\frac{m}{v}

Rearrange the formula for m, the mass. Multiply both sides of the equation by v.

d*v=\frac{m}{v}*v

d*v=m

The mass of the gold nugget can be found by multiplying the density and volume. The density is 19.3 grams per cubic centimeter and the volume is 0.87 cubic centimeters.

d= 19.3 g/cm^3\\v-0.87 cm^3

Substitute the values into the formula.

m=d*v

m= 19.3 g/cm^3*0.87 cm^3

Multiply. Note that the cubic centimeters, or cm³ will cancel each other out.

m=19.3 g*0.87

m=16.791 g

The mass of the gold nugget is 16.791 grams.

How many molecules are there in 223 grams of Na2SO4?
Harlamova29_29 [7]
<h3><u>Answer;</u></h3>

= 9.45 × 10^23 molecules

<h3><u>Explanation; </u></h3>

The molar mass of Na2SO4 = 142.04 g/mol

Number of moles = mass/molar mass

                             = 223/142.04

                             =  1.57 moles

But;

1 mole = 6.02 × 10^23 molecules

Therefore;

1.57 moles = ?

= 1.57 × 6.02 × 10^23 molecules

<u>= 9.45 × 10^23 molecules </u>

if multicellular organism came from unicellular organisms, then are all species ralated, why do you think so?
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

Explanation:

Most people when asked, “What is the equation of a line?”, will answer, “y = mx + b”. This is the

equation of a line in what is called slope-intercept form where “m” is the slope and “b” is the yintercept. So, how do you find the equation of a line? There are several different ways that you can find

the equation of a line. I find the equation of a line everytime by following the same three steps:

Step 1: Find the slope of the line.

Step 2: Use the slope to find the y-intercept.

Step 3: Use steps 1 and 2 to write the answer.

I will explain these steps by looking a several examples. Please understand that there are often several

different ways to complete each math problem, but I have found through the years that students are most

successful when the do problems the same way each and every time they attempt the problem. If you

know a different way to find the answer that is great, but I am going to show how to do the problem one

way and use the same technique everytime I see this problem.
