Why do you sometimes have only one multiplication sentence for an array

Mathematics

Solution:

An array is an arrangement of a number in the form of rows and columns.

For example ,number

1= 1 × 1

2 = 2 × 1 or 1 × 2

3 = 3 × 1 or 1 × 3

4 = 2 × 2,or 4× 1 or 1 × 4

K= m × n

m =Number of rows, n=Number of columns

First number represent number of rows, and second number represent number of columns.

If in an Array there is only one row and one column, and only single object in that array, we don't need to write anything. We just say that This arrangement contains only one object represented in 1= 1 × 1 array.

Can I please get help on these questions?
zlopas [31]

Well, let's see that we can find the midpoint with this formula:

(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2})

We have the midpoint and one of the endpoints so:

(\frac{x_1+(-2)}{2},\frac{y_1+(-19)}{2})=(-1,-28)

(\frac{x_1-2}{2},\frac{y_1-19}{2})=(-1, -28)

We have this now:

\frac{x_1-2}{2}=-1

x_1-2= -1.2

x_1-2=-2

x_1=-2+2

x_1=0

\frac{y_1-19}{2}=-28

y_1-19=-28.2

y_1-19=-56

y_1=-56+19

y_1=-37

So the pair is (0, -37)

If P(A)=2/3, P(B)=4/5, and P(AvB)=8/15, what is P(A^B)?
Triss [41]

Answer:

P(A^B) = 22/15 or 1 7/15

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the P (A^B), we add the probability of events A and B.

2/3 + 4/5 = P, we need to find the LCD to add disimilar fractions

LCD is 15.

2(5)/15 +4(3)/15 = 10/15 + 12/15 = 22/15

20 less than12 times a number is 64, what is the number
Genrish500 [490]

20  <  12  ⋅  <em>x</em>  =  64

This is somewhat of a false equation though, due to  the left side  "20"  is not less than the right side  "12 ", which means that the given statement is false.

So I switched it up and made the variable "12"

<u>12  <  20  ⋅  </u><u><em>x</em></u><u>  =  64 </u>

12x - 20 = 64

12x = 64 + 20

12x = 84

12x⁄12 = 84⁄12

x = 7

____

I hope this helps, as always. I wish you the best of luck and have a nice day, friend..
