I haven't done this in a while, but I'm pretty sure the answer is D, (-3, -1.)

If you were to substitute x for -3 and y for -1 in the first inequalities and simplify, it would look like this:

-1 > -3-2

-1 > - 5

And that inequality is true, because -1 is bigger than -5. Let's also substitute in the other inequality, which would be:

-1 > 2(-3) + 2

-1 > -6 + 2

-1 > -4

And -1 is bigger than -4. So, I think the answer would be D because substituting for those values of x and y would stil. make the inequalities true.

A2. Find y' and y" for y^2 = x^2<br>+ sinxy
kumpel [21]

Answer:

y'   = (2x + y cosxy)/(2y + x cosxy)

Step-by-step explanation:

Using implicit differentiation:

y^2 = x^2 + sin xy

2y y' = 2x + cos xy  * (xy' + y)

2y y' = 2x + xy' cos xy + y cos xy

2y y' - xy' cosxy = 2x + ycos xy

y'   = (2x + y cosxy)/(2y - x cosxy)

Average Inventory The Yasuko Okada Fragrance Company (YOFC) receives a shipment of 400 cases of specialty perfume early Monday m
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

At the end of any given business day, CFFC has 400-80t cases of perfume on hand, where t = 1 represents Monday, t = 2 represents Tuesday and so on. The inventory becomes nil on Friday evening. So,

The values of a and b are

a = 0

b = 5

Using the formular for average value, we have the average value as

\frac{1}{5-0}\int\limits^5_0 {(400-80t)}dt\\\\=\frac{1}{5}(400t-\frac{80t^2}{2})\limits^5_0\\\\=\frac{1}{5}(400t-40t^2)\limits^5_0\\\\=\frac{1}{5}(2000-1000)\\\\=200

Average inventory is 200 cases
