Units can help you better understand a question because it can help the problem be more "real life" and the ability to comprehend it will become simpler also. If doing a difficult question, solving a difficult inequality, for example, coming up with units to fit it may make going through the process of understanding it easier. For a problem that involves measurements, units can make it seem like a probable event that will unconsciously propel you to want to understand how to figure out how to reach the solution to a question. That is why units can be quite helpful in understanding a question.

Units sometimes get in the way of solving a question because they are a possible distraction to the real task at hand. In geometry, the different units can make conversions confusing, and the squares and cubes not help the solution be more clear.

What is 20% by 37 decreased
Ghella [55]

Answer:

<u><em>37 decreased by 20% is </em></u><u><em>29.6.</em></u>

Step-by-step explanation:

<u><em>To do this, what we do is simply </em></u><u><em>take 20% of 37 and subtract it from 37.</em></u>

<u><em>20% of 37.</em></u><u><em> A trick to easily figure this out is </em></u><u><em>multipling 37 by 20 and dividing by 100.</em></u>

<u><em>37*20 = 740</em></u>

<u><em>740 / 100 = 7.40</em></u>

<u><em>37 - 7.40 = 29.6</em></u>

<u><em>37 decreased by 20% is </em></u><u><em>29.6.</em></u>

Sales tax is .30 cents because 2.39+1.59=3.98
multiply by the sales tax which would be .075 after you move the decimal. you get .2985 cents so round it up to .30 cents
