The government of Sweden makes equality in education a priority. A majority of women work, and there is a minimal pay gap between men and women. 31% of publicly traded companies are headed by women. Women are also highly represented in government, making Sweden the most equal society.

For starters, women are in a great position in the labor market compared to women in other countries, even western ones. In addition, the people have good access to healthcare and education which is often regulated through taxes and is accessible to all social classes. They also have a good welfare system so the people who are having trouble in their life can get help until they fix their lives.

7. One of the advantages of the First and Second Estates is that their members did not have to pay
Digiron [165]
Taxes.

The tax burden in France, prior to the French Revolution, fell on the shoulders of the 98% of the population that made up the Third Estate.   The First Estate consisted of the clergy, and the Second Estate was the nobility.  Those two estates overlapped in some ways, because high ranking church officials functioned as a form of aristocracy too.  And the two leading Estates colluded with one another to keep the system operating the way it was, with them having all the privileges and powers underneath the monarchy.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of having the presidentchosen by the people rather than the legislature?
quester [9]

Answer:

If/when chosen by the people you get a more appealing outcome.

Because... The determining factors are YOUR family, friends, and town-folk. It's the people you grew up with. So you all are aware of the same problems in your city/state and you are more than likely both thinking of the same solution. Where as, if chosen by a legislature, you have a bunch of well paid senators who may not see all the things normal people do since they work and live indoors and nowhere near the problems most of the time. They don't care for the middle to lower classes. Most just care about the rich and how to make themselves better and wealthier. It sucks to see, and even more to be living in this kind of world but it's just how it is.
