Hello,  Morgansheridonolson

I'd like to thank you for using Brainly! We all love to help out when we have a chance.

I was reading over the question and noticed the word "union" at the end of the sentence, what the speaker is saying is that they formed this union over with his group of people. And with that group they were able to do something that's possibly political, keep in mind they talk about race in the speech too. I believe the answer would be C, Voting for all blacks. I'd like you to read over again and hear this part "it was we, the people; not we, the white male citizens. The speaker is implying that they are not black and says things about the whites.

Again,  Morgansheridonolson, thanks for being able to use Brainly.

Have an amazing day,

Emacathy

Which explains why the Phoenicians developed a currency? (4 points)
dedylja [7]

Answer:

1. They needed a fair way to trade with other regions.

2. They used to trade with goods but that way of bartering became very confusing, so they created a currency to simplify this.

3. This use of currency could save time and energy for citizens who used to have to lug around heavy carts full of livestock or luggage.

4. The Ancient Phoenicians culture was based around the bartering and trade system. While this was fine for the time being the Phoenicians soon had a need for a modernized value. This is where the coin was brought into play which created a needed symbol of hard work and time spent.

List the ways economic growth can be measured
sergejj [24]

Answer:

Different methods, such as Gross National Product (GNP) and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) can be employed to assess economic growth. Gross Domestic Product measures the value of goods and services produced by a nation.

Since economic growth is measured as the annual percent change of gross domestic product (GDP), it has all the advantages and drawbacks of that measure. The economic growth-rates of countries are commonly compared using the ratio of the GDP to population (per-capita income).

Which power was used by the Supreme Court in each case? How were the Supreme Court’s rulings similar in each case?
Softa [21]

Answer:

The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish." Although the Constitution establishes the Supreme Court, it permits Congress to decide how to organize it. Congress first exercised this power in the Judiciary Act of 1789. This Act created a Supreme Court with six justices. It also established the lower federal court system.

Boerne v. Flores is an example of judicial review, which was created in Marbury v. Madison. The court can use cases such as Boerne to determine the constitutionality of laws passed by Congress. In Marbury, the Court ruled that Congress had overstepped its constitutional powers with the Judiciary Act of 1789. In Boerne, the Court again ruled that Congress overstepped its powers. Congress must abide by the principle of limited government, and it must respect separation of powers.
