I think it's -15/32, because that's the only one that makes sense to me.

-5/16 cannot be the answer, because -3/8 is one slot to the left of it.
-5/8 cannot be the answer, because if you convert it to 16ths, its -10/16.
-23/64 cannot be the answer, because it could also be one slot to the RIGHT of -3/8.

1) we know that  sin2x=2sinxcosx, so sinxcosx=(1/2)sin2x, but sinxcosx=0.027
(1/2)sin2x=0.027, sin2x=0.054, arcsin(0.054)=2x, 3.09=2x, x=1.54 degree (x is in (0, 2), it is verified)

Help, I am so confused. Triangle Inequalities <br> Please and Thank you
Sav [38]

The Triangle Inequality Theorem says: Any side of a triangle must be shorter than the other two sides added together. The triangle inequality states that for any triangle, the sum of the lengths of any two sides must be greater than or equal to the length of the remaining side.

La probabilidad de que un dia cualquiera, carlos almuerce pollo frito es de 0,4. La probabilidad de que almuerce hambuergues es
MAXImum [283]

Answer:

0.6

Step-by-step explanation:

La fórmula para calcular la probabilidad de dos eventos se da como:

P (A⋃B) = P (A) + P (B) - P (A ⋂ B)

P (C ⋃ H) =?

Por lo tanto, aplicando nuestra fórmula:

P (C ⋃ H) = P (C) + P (H) - P (C ⋂ H)

P (C ⋃ H) = 0.4 + 0.3 - 0.1

P (C ⋃ H) = 0.6

find the t values that form the boundaries of the critical region for a two-tailed test with a=.05 for n=6 n=12
AlexFokin [52]

Answer:

n=6

"=T.INV(1-0.025,5)", and we got the critical values given by: t_{critical}=\pm 2.5706

n=12

"=T.INV(1-0.025,11)", and we got the critical values given by: t_{critical}=\pm 2.201

Step-by-step explanation:

Previous concepts

The t distribution (Student’s t-distribution) is a "probability distribution that is used to estimate population parameters when the sample size is small (n<30) or when the population variance is unknown".

The shape of the t distribution is determined by its degrees of freedom and when the degrees of freedom increase the t distirbution becomes a normal distribution approximately.

The degrees of freedom represent "the number of independent observations in a set of data. For example if we estimate a mean score from a single sample, the number of independent observations would be equal to the sample size minus one."

Solution to the problem

For n=6

In order to find the critical value we need to take in count that we are conducting a two tailed test, so we are looking on the t distribution with df=n-1=6-1=5 degrees of freedom, a value that accumulates 0.05/2=0.025 of the area on each tail. We can use excel or a table to find it, for example the code in Excel is:

"=T.INV(1-0.025,5)", and we got the critical values given by: t_{critical}=\pm 2.5706

For n=12

In order to find the critical value we need to take in count that we are conducting a two tailed test, so we are looking on the t distribution with df=n-1=12-1=11 degrees of freedom, a value that accumulates 0.05/2=0.025 of the area on each tail. We can use excel or a table to find it, for example the code in Excel is:

"=T.INV(1-0.025,11)", and we got the critical values given by: t_{critical}=\pm 2.201
