It's sometimes, because let's say I have 4/5 right? So when in a percent it's 80%. I suppose you could turn it into a a decimal of 80/100 but no not always. 3295729357/1000000000000. That doesn't have a denominator of 100, so yeah.

I'm not sure what your asking but what I can gather from the question is when turning a percent into a fraction yes, you woud always put the denominator as 100

Julie has a jewelry box shaped like a cube. The volume of the jewelry box is v cubic inches. Part A: Write an expression that re
ELEN [110]

Answer:

∛v

Step-by-step explanation:

As you already should know, volume is measured by hwl (height • width • length), we know the equation we'd use here would be:

___ x ___ x ___ =  v in³

If this was area, we would have ___ x ___ = v in², and it would be easy to find each blank. You would just find the square root of "v", making your answer √v.

When you have 3 things multiplied by each other (that are exactly the same, which is the situation here since this is a cube), you will want to find ∛x (if x is our unknown variable). This means that we are finding ONE-THIRD of the number ... sort of. So if x was equal to 8, then ∛x = 2, because 2 x 2 x 2 = 8.

Thus, x = v, and since we don't know the actual number, we will keep it as a square root, so the answer to your question is ∛v.

The volume of the cylinder is 230 cubic units. What is the volume of the
11Alexandr11 [23.1K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for determining the volume of a cylinder is expressed as

Volume = πr²h

Where

r represents the radius of the cylinder

h represents the height of the cylinder

π is a constant

The formula for determining the volume of a cone is expressed as

Volume = 1/3πr²h

Where

r represents the radius of the cone

h represents the height of the cone

This means that the volume of the cone is 1/3 × volume of cylinder. Since the volume of the given cylinder is 230 cubic units, then

Volume of cone = 1/3 × 230 = 76.7 cubic units

What properties do you think stay the same after a translation?
Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

Shape and scale remain the same.

Step-by-step explanation:

Shape and scale remain the same.  Translation does not affect the shape of a graph or area, nor does it dilate the graph (make it either larger or smaller).
