Answer:

You and your sibling, whose name is ______    , go to your favorite store called     Walmart.   . There, ______.    finds a toy to buy, called a     nerf gun    . He really wants this toy. The toy is labeled $3.99, and so he brings it to the cashier. The cashier tells your sibling, “That will be $4.19.” Your sibling removes four dollar bills from a pocket and then, finding no more money, starts to cry. He turns to you and begins asking questions as you walk away from the counter.

“Why was the label wrong? It said $3.99!”

You respond, “It rang up as $4.19 because of     taxes    . This is     extra money business have to charge because the government saves the money in a piggy bank like we do, just in case something brakes, they can take money out of the bank to fix it. Things like roads and buildings.    . We pay other types of     taxes     to the government such as     federal state and local taxes

“Why do we pay them? It seems so unfair! Now I can’t have my toy!”

You respond, “We pay them because     it’s the law    Governments at each level provide us with different things such as roads, food for us to but It helps the economy because where would the government get their money, so they can buy things for us to buy

“It doesn’t help me. I shouldn’t have to pay. I’m just a kid.”

You respond, “Even kids benefit. One specific example is getting free vaccines. A way that our family benefits is how we get to pay only less after being hospitalized. A way that our community benefits is how we get new school buildings.

“How was I supposed to know all this? I don’t have 19 cents. What do I do now?”

You respond, “What you should do is create your own budget. A budget how you plan to spend your money. It lists all your income and expenses. When you subtract expenses from income

. what is left can be spent how you please , on things you don't really need or it could be an emergency fund. The reason having a budget is bad is because you can't spend all of your money that you would like to.

“Will my budget be anything like the government’s budget?”

You respond, “They have similarities and differences. Some similarities include paying for transportation. Some differences include  the governments highest priority is social security, while personal budgets do not include that.

Taxes are a way for the government to collect money from its citizens. Almost every item you purchase has a tax attached to it and some products have higher taxes tahn others.

Once the government collect the taxes, they use it to build roads, schools and parks. The government decides how much of those taxes goes to which department.

There are many ways you benefit from taxes, the salary that your teacher collects comes from taxes, so does police and fire men and every public employee you can think of. When you go to the park and play and you see all the swings in perfect shape, that maintenance can happen thanks to taxes.

A budget is an estimation of how much money you have and how much money you can spend. you can make a budget by taking how much you earned and how much does it cost to purchase the items that you want, the cost of the items that you want must not be higher than the total amount of the money you earned.

Both budgets pretty much works the same way. It's the amount of money you or the government have to spend, the difference is in the things that you spend it on. You can spend it on whatever item you want to get and the government has to spend it in departments beneficial to the community.

Hope this helps

Mashutka [201]

Answer:This threat to internal validity is called TESTING.

Explanation:

Testing refers a instant when a test is repeated with measures remaining constant as they were in the first test.

If participants are given the same test multiple times it is very likely that they may perform better only because they have mastered the test procedure and can now know how to respond better.

This will affect internal validity of the test because the result are no longer the real presentation of the outcome of the test.

Internal validity refers to how trustworthy an outcome is when looking at the cause and effect.

34kurt

Answer:

B. High security prison.

Explanation:

As Janice is considered a long-term, high risk offender, she is most likely to be housed in a maximum security prison. This never matters if she is a female or not. This is primarily because of her profile which has counts of first degree murder, stating nat she is a very big threat even when found in lower or minimum security prisons as she could maim more havoc than she has already done. She could be sorry sometimes because of possible psycothic behaviours but it would not stop her from stopping any soon. This is the primary reason for a maximum security prison is highly considered.
