English
1 answer:
Naddik [55]3 years ago

Answer:

A: Identifying only two options and ignoring others is an example of authority.

Explanation:

‘’Authority’’ always refers to an official ability or position to take a decision or perform an action. So, example of authority would be when one Identifies only two options and ignores the other. The person might have authority to do so.

Other options are incorrect as ‘’ Basing a conclusion on insufficient evidence’’ is a hasty generalisation as per option B. Option C, ‘’Incorrectly suggesting that one thing caused another’’ is also not an example of authority as the person who is in authority is answerable for his actions. Similarly, ‘’ Citing a source who is not an expert on the topic’’ is also an incorrect option since the authority need to take care of the organisation and he would try to minimise the risks instead of maximizing it.

Imagine you are working in a state mental hospital with individuals diagnosed with severe and profound intellectual disability.
Mashutka [201]

Answer:

When you are working with severely cognitive impairment, many factors need to be considered ranging from physical cares such as avoiding dehydration, malnutrition, falls, injures and medicine to their psychological and emotional wellbeing.

Explanation:

To provide safe and high- quality care to those with severe mental loss, we need to be alert to prevent patients hurting themselves or to avoid hostile atmosphere. Apart from monitoring their physiological needs, we need to provide a warm, bright and nurturing context. Be patient and alert to any complications or adverse events. It is important to listen to previous carers and family to tailor the patient's safe-keeping. Every person is presumed to have capacity until traces of delirium, risk of harm or dementia are noticed. Thus, communication at all times is the key. The unfamiliar atmosphere in a hospital may be overwhelming so you should resource to verbal communication and respect for a person's privacy. Finally, decision-making should be always consulted with the patient's family or legal guardian.

Consider the following three statements:
Rama09 [41]

Answer: A their weight in creases

Explanation: This would be a correlational relationship.

Correlational relationship means the occurances can occur at the same time...they might be associated but one does not cause the other.

Casual relationship is basically a cause/effect relationship...one event occurs because of the other.

Just because a childs weight increases, does not mean their vocabulary expands...there are skinny people with great vocabulary. However, that does not mean that a " chubby " person cannot have good vocabulary.
