The Chinese Revolution also called the Revolution of 1911 was the revolution that overthrew the Chinese imperial Qing dynasty and established the Republic of China.

With the revolution new beliefs came, the elites were out of power and now values such as rights, equality, and popular sovereignty ruled.

A new political culture was established and political mobilization happened that included the public, the media. People started to spread pamphlets to remove the imperial establishment from power.

At the end of the revolution, a new concept of rights was established, equality and political participation were now a part of the public’s culture, men and women gained political consciousness.
