For number one, you’re decimal is technically after zero. To change your percentage into a real decimal number, move the decimal twice to the left. Then you will get 3.5. 3.5 is also equivalent to 3 1/2. Do the same for numbers 23 and four. For number five, each you need to know that each hole number represents 100%. If you do the math you will realize that 1/2 equals 50%. When you add them together, you get 250%. Do the same for Numbers six, seven, and eight.

Lines k and p are perpendicular, neither is vertical and p passes through the origin. Which is greater? A. The product of the sl
AlladinOne [14]
What do we know about those two lines?

They are perpendicular, meaning they have the same slope.
We know the slope of both is not zero (neither is vertical).
Therefore either
1) Both slopes are positive and therefore the product is positive
2) Both slopes are negative and therefore the product is positive (minus by a minus is a plus)

For the y intercepts, we know that the line P passes through the origin.
Therefore its Y intercept is zero.
[draw it if this is not obvious and ask where does it cross the y axis]
Therefore the Y intercept of line K and line P is zero.
[anything multiplied by a zero is a zero]

So we know that the product of slopes is positive, and we know that the product of Y intercepts is zero.
So the product of slopes must be greater.

Sergio is multiplying two factors, one to the tenths place and the other to the tenths place. He says the product will have two
Arturiano [62]
No. Because the Tenths place is right after the decimal. So he will only have 1 decimal place. Welcome!

How many 5-digit numbers can be formed using the digits 0,1,2,3,4,5,6, if repetition of digits is not allowed?
Talja [164]

Answer:

Is it 2160?

Step-by-step explanation:

This is permutation

Imagine □□□□□, each □ represents a digit

For the 1st □, there are 6 choices, since "0" cannot be the first digit, or else it is not a 5-digit number

For the 2nd □, there are 6 choices (1 out of the 7 number is already used)

For the 3rd □, there are 5 choices (2 out of 7 numbers are used)

And so on.....

Therefore,

6×6×5×4×3 = 2160
