Answer:Tragedy of the commons is referred to as a circumstance where under a system of shared-resource, individuals tend to act independently in accordance with their own self-interest, they tend to act contrary to the common good. Therefore, depleting and spoiling the main source of that resource through their actions.

In an unregulated industry which acts as the main source responsible for water pollution, most of the organization might tend to act irresponsibly without having the tendency to act in favour of the environment and people living in that surrounding. Thus contributing more towards water pollution.

zvonat [6]

Answer:

15/29

Explanation:

Olive oil = 5/8

Vinegar = 1/4

Let us find a common multiple that would help us easily make computation

We know that 5/8 = 15/24

and that 1/4 = 6/24

That means the mixture requires olive oil to be 15 parts out of 24

and requires vinegar to be 6 parts out of 24.

This means that the composition of salt, pepper, and sugar would be:

1 - (15/24 + 6/24)

= 1 - (21/24) = 3/24

This means that each is approximately 1 part of the mixture.

Hence if Vinegar is doubled: we have 12 parts of 24, instead of 6 parts of 24

And sugar is omitted, that means Sugar = 0 part of 24 instead of 1 part of 24

Total parts become = 15 + 12 + 1 + 1+ 0 = 29

From this 29 parts, 15 parts are olive, hence the olive proportion becomes:

15 parts of 29 = 15/29

Por que el texto plantea que la investigacion cientifica no es lineal?
kherson [118]

Answer:

En contraste con los pasos lineales del método científico simplificado, este proceso no es lineal: el proceso de la ciencia es iterativo. La ciencia gira sobre sí misma para que las ideas útiles se construyan y se utilicen para aprender aún más sobre el mundo natural.
