Answer: Second option BC\cong FG is the correct option.

Explanation:

If two triangles are congruent then their corresponding sides are congruent.

In \triangle ABC and \triangle EFG, AB, BC, and CA are corresponding to EF, FG and GE respectively.

Therefore, if \triangle ABC\cong \triangle EFG then,

AB\cong EF,

BC\cong FG,

And, CA\cong GE

Therefore, only second option is correct.

Plug the values in to the equation and solve

-3x+5y=2x+3y

(2,4) plugged in would be

-3(2)+5(4)=2(2)+3(4)

All you have to do is solve this and if the two sides are not equal(like 4=20), then it is not a solution. Just plug in (3,3) next.

<u>On the night before ,each person talks to every other person atleast once that means A would talk to B,C,D and E atleast once.</u>

Lets start with A. He would talk to other 4 people which means there would be 4 phone calls made.

Now lets take B. He can talk to A,C,D and E. But  A has already talked to C therefore to get minimum number of phone calls , B need not call A again. So he calls only C,D and E.

In case of C using similar logic he need to talk to only D and E.

For D , he talks to E alone.

E does not have to talk to anyone as he has already talked to everyone atleast once.

Total calls = 4 + 3 + 2 + 1

                    = 10
