Walter George and Eugene Talmadge were against Franklin Roosevelt's policies regarding new deal and by his reforms in general, and since they were influential in the congress they could pose a problem. He supported Lawrence Camp because Camp was a trusted man and would support FDR's policies and FDR could help elect him through his presidential influence.

Why does the last paragraph of Article 1, Section 8, and Article 6 of the Constitution scare Yates so much? Explain your answer.
katrin2010 [14]

Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution stated that Congress had the power to make the laws under which the country shall be governed.

Article 6 of the Constitution stated that all laws and treaties made under the United States authority are considered as supreme Law of the Land. Therefore, judges in every state should grant justice according to these Laws.

Robert Yates, who participated in the Constitutional Convention, was highly skeptical of granting much power to a single central government, therefore, the fact that a central entity had the power to manage the supreme Law of the Land instead of delegating some of it to the states was something he opposed.

Answer:

The Founding Fathers justified in rebelling against the British government and declaring independence for the unfair taxing without  representation and they had enough. The 13 colonies and England had a strain against each other during the years 1740 to 1770, and because of that they went into a war. Most colonists paid cheap taxes and had benefits from the Indian and the French war. So England expected colonial help so they wanted the colonists to pay the debt. So it came out with violence so other colonists believe that" New England" was a big problem. The Declaration of Independence colonists clearly stated their unfair treatment and case against England,  about what had caused them to separate and fight to become the us of America.
