To do this problem, we would have to subtract the elapsed hour with the end time, and the same for the minutes.

End time minutes: 42

Elapsed time minutes: 44

42-44=-2

End time hour: 10

Elapsed hour: 6

10-6=4 hours.

So now we have 4 hours and -2 minutes as the start time, so we have to subtract an hour and subtract 2 from 60 minutes.

Start time is: 3:58 AM

~Hope I helped!~

3:58 am, because 42-44 would give you 58 min, and 10-6 would be 4, but since you have to go 44 minutes in the past, you have to take out another hour.
(this is kind of hard to explain, just use the answer)

Using the quadratic formula to solve 2x2 = 4x – 7, what are the values of x? 2 plus-or-minus StartRoot 10 EndRoot i 1 plus-or-mi
ioda

Answer:

x = 1 +/- \frac{i\sqrt{10} }{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation given is:

2x^2 = 4x - 7\\\\2x^2 - 4x + 7 = 0

Using quadratic formula:

x = \frac{-b +/- \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac} }{2a}

From the question:

a = 2, b = -4, c = 7

Therefore:

x = \frac{4 +/- \sqrt{(-4)^2 - 4 * 2 * 7} }{2 * 2}\\\\x = \frac{4 +/- \sqrt{(16 - 56)} }{4}\\\\x = \frac{4 +/- \sqrt{-40} }{4}\\

=> x = 1 +/- \frac{i\sqrt{10} }{2}

    <em>16+y=24, What is y?</em>

<em />

<em />\dashrightarrow\large\blue\textsf{\textbf{\underline{Answer and how to solve:-}}}

When solving an equation, we need to make sure that all variables are on one side and all numbers are on the other side.

Since we have numbers on both sides, we need to move all of them to one side:-

\tt{16+y=24}

\tt{y=24-16}

\tt{y=8}

<h3>Good luck with your studies.</h3>

Find f(7). f(x)=x^2+9<br><br> Find b(-2)-a(12). a(x)=13x-2;b(x)=8x-14
baherus [9]

Answer:

f(7)=58

b(-2)-a(12)=-188

Step-by-step explanation:

f(7)=(7)^2+9

49+9

f(7)= 58

b(-2)-a(12)=8(-2)-14-13(12)-2

-16-14-156-2

=-188
