To do this problem, we would have to subtract the elapsed hour with the end time, and the same for the minutes.

End time minutes: 42

Elapsed time minutes: 44

42-44=-2

End time hour: 10

Elapsed hour: 6

10-6=4 hours.

So now we have 4 hours and -2 minutes as the start time, so we have to subtract an hour and subtract 2 from 60 minutes.

Start time is: 3:58 AM

~Hope I helped!~

3:58 am, because 42-44 would give you 58 min, and 10-6 would be 4, but since you have to go 44 minutes in the past, you have to take out another hour.
(this is kind of hard to explain, just use the answer)

For a ride on a rental scooter, Deon paid an $8 fee to start the scooter plus 6 cents per minute of the ride. The total bill for
faltersainse [42]

Answer:

66 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

11.96 - 8 =3.96

Every 10 minutes Deon pays 60 cents because 6 times 10 = 60 and every 6 minutes Deon is paying 36 cents

10 min = 60 cents

20 min = $1.20

40 min = $2.40

50 min = $3.00

60 min = $3.60

6 min = 36 cents

Then you do 3.60 + 36 which equals $3.96

How to figure how the minutes is just 60 + 6 = 66 minutes

A 99% confidence interval for the sugar content (per 5 oz. serving) of a shipment of strawberries is 5.9 to 8.3 grams.
gavmur [86]

Answer:

Sample mean = 7.1

Margin of error = 0.465

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula for confidence interval is;

CI = x¯ ± zE

Where;

x¯ is sample mean

z is critical value at confidence level

E is margin of error.

z for 99% Cl is 2.58

We are told the CI is 5.9 to 8.3.

Thus;

5.9 = x¯ - 2.58E - - - - (1)

8.3 = x¯ + 2.58E - - - - (2)

Add both equations together to get;

14.2 = 2x¯

x¯ = 14.2/2

x¯ = 7.1

Put 7.1 for x¯ in eq 1 to get;

5.9 = 7.1 - 2.58E

7.1 - 5.9 = 2.58E

E = 1.2/2.58

E = 0.465

What is the greatest value of 2,463.9051
RoseWind [281]

Hey There @Bre18016,

The answer is \boxed{2}

The greatest value of 2,463.9051 would be the thousands place (2) simply as it is the biggest number out of the other places.

For instance, if we had the number 300, 3 would be the greatest value.

Or let's say we had 10,000 the 1 would be the greatest value.

Furthermore, you could look at the first digit in the entire number to deter mine the greatest value.
