To do this problem, we would have to subtract the elapsed hour with the end time, and the same for the minutes.

End time minutes: 42

Elapsed time minutes: 44

42-44=-2

End time hour: 10

Elapsed hour: 6

10-6=4 hours.

So now we have 4 hours and -2 minutes as the start time, so we have to subtract an hour and subtract 2 from 60 minutes.

Start time is: 3:58 AM

~Hope I helped!~

3:58 am, because 42-44 would give you 58 min, and 10-6 would be 4, but since you have to go 44 minutes in the past, you have to take out another hour.
(this is kind of hard to explain, just use the answer)

Georgia [21]
4x = (130 - 2x) so x = 65/3

(3y + 40) + (130 -2x) = 180 because the angles are supplementary

plug in x

3y + 40 + 130 - 2(65/3) = 180

so 3y = 95/3

therefore y = 95/6

Angel paints three rooms with two gallons of paint. How many rooms can he paint with fifteen gallons of paint?
Vanyuwa [196]

Answer:

22 rooms

Step-by-step explanation:

If two gallons of paint covers 3 rooms then you need to divide 15 gallons of paint by 2 gallons of paint = 7.5 gallons of paint. then you need to multiply 7.5 gallons of paint by 3 rooms = 22.5..... so that means you can paint 22 full rooms.
