If a factor is x+4, that means that the coefficient of x^2 (the number in front of it, which would be 1) and that 20 should be divisible by 20. Now, if you divide 20 by 4, you would get 5, and 1/1 = 1. So, the 2 factors you have is

(x+4)(x+5)

When you FOIL, you would get
x^2+9x+20, which means

b=9

HELP// On a piece of paper, use a protractor to construct a triangle with angle measures of 20° and 30°.
jekas [21]
Add the two angles together  then subtract 180 to find the third angle which equals 130 degrees so you have all your angles now you need the definitions for acute, obtuse, and right angle

right angle has a 90 degree angle so that cant be it

<span>an acute angle is less than 90 degrees so that is not it
</span>
obtuse angle is larger than 90 degrees so that must be the correct answer.. the correct answer is obtuse

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{12x}{2x-3x-10}-\frac{x}{x-5}=\frac{12x}{-x-10}-\frac{x}{x-5}\\\\=\frac{12x}{-(x+10)}-\frac{x}{x-5}\\\\=\frac{-12x}{x+10}-\frac{x}{x-5}\\\\=\frac{-12x*(x-5)}{(x+10)*(x-5)}-\frac{x*(x+10)}{(x-5(x+10)}\\\\=\frac{-12x*x-5*(-12x)}{(x+10)(x-5)}-\frac{x*x+x*10}{(x-5)(x+10)}\\\\=\frac{-12x^{2}+60x}{(x+10)(x-5)}-\frac{x^{2}+10x}{(x-5)(x+10)}\\\\=\frac{-12x^{2}+60x-(x^{2}+10x)}{(x+10)(x-5)}\\\\=\frac{-12x^{2} + 60x - x^{2}-10x}{x^{2}+5x-50}\\\\=\frac{-13x^{2}+50x}{x^{2}+5x-50}

Every function is a relation because the numbers have relationships but not every relation is a function because for it to be a function there has to be one y fo every x if any x(input) has more than one y(output) it's not a function

The mass of Earth is 5.97 &gt;&lt; 1024 kilograms. The mass of the Moon is 7.34 x 1022 kilograms. What is the combined mass of E
LuckyWell [14K]

Answer:

7.34x10^22 kg can also be written as 0.0734 * 10^24 kg

Since both numbers are * 10^24, you can just add 5.97 + 0.0734 = 6.043. Then you have to add the * 10^24 giving you 6.043 * 10^24 kg

The ratio of Earth / moon is 5.97x10^24 / 7.34x10^22 = 81. The mass of the Earth is 81 times the mass of the moon.
