the way that the body maintains homeostasis during exercise is the removal waste product such as carbon dioxide gas which is produced during cellular respiration.

Explanation:

During exercise, the body needs more oxygen and nutrients. For this purpose, energy is released in the process of cellular respiration. The product of cellular respiration the generation of energy in the form of ATP and carbon dioxide gas. ATP is used by the body while carbon dioxide is removed from the body during breathing. During exercise, the glucose is provided by the digestive system to the mitochondria of the cell and the waste product is removed through respiratory system of the body while the circulatory system sends energy molecules where it is needed in the body and carbon-dioxide to respiratory system for removal.
