In a paragraph of at least three sentences, explain the tone of this excerpt from Little Brother. Provide details from the text

to support your answer.
"I decided that I couldn't run. That I had to face justice—that my freedom wasn't worth anything if I was a wanted man, or if the city was still under the DHS. If my friends were still locked up. That freedom for me wasn't as important as a free country."

Now kids, I know you can answer this, because I answered this. It's quite easy. Just answer correctly and you can have Brainliest and points.

The author seems almost defeated ("I decided I couldn't run..") but also has a more ethical tone, saying his freedom wasn't worth anything if the city was still under DHS and his friends were still locked up and that his freedom wasn't  as important as a free country.

Read this excerpt from The Monk's Tale":
Neko [114]

Answer:

C.

Explanation:

The answer is C because the excerpt states, "For Hercules, victor of sovereign power,  His labours sing his praise and lasting fame." this portrays him in a sort of heroic light as it calls him a "victor." It also states how people sang in praise of him. It gives the idea that he is admired by many. Furthermore, the exceprtr states how he completed many difficult deeds, which gives reason for why they may look up to him.
