She will use 12 tubes of paint for 20 frames. I got this by (below)

5 frames =3 tubes; so to get to 20 frames you do 5x4=20, which means you multiply 4x3=12 (if you need further explanation then let me know but hope this helps)

Solve each of the following equations. Show its set on a number line.
natta225 [31]

Answer:

The solution set is all real numbers.

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve this equation, we have:

4x - 4/mleft(x + 1/mright) = 4 \\ (4x - 4x - 4) = 4 \\ ( - 4) = 4 \\ 4 = 4

The final sentence is always true, The solution set is all real numbers.

Showing it in the number line in blue, we have:

I need help finding bc and ac
Vikki [24]
<h3>Given :</h3>

  • AB = 7
  • ∠A = 45°

<h3>To Find :</h3>

  • BC = ?
  • AC = ?

<h3>Solution :</h3>

From point A,

\bf tan A = \dfrac{perpendicular}{base}

\bf \implies tan A = \dfrac{BC}{AB}

\bf \implies tan A = \dfrac{BC}{7}

Now, we are given ∠A = 45°

\bf \implies tan A = tan 45^{\circ}

\bf \implies tan 45^{\circ} = \dfrac{BC}{7}

Now, we know that tan45° = 1

\bf \implies 1 = \dfrac{BC}{7}

\bf \implies 1 \times 7 = BC

\bf \implies BC = 7

Now, by Pythagoras' theorem,

AC² = BC² + AB²

\bf \implies AC^{2} = (7)^{2} + (7)^{2}

\bf \implies AC^{2} = 49 + 49

\bf \implies AC^{2} = 98

\bf \implies AC = \sqrt{98}

\bf \implies AC = 7 \sqrt{2}

\pink{\bf \therefore \: values \: of \: AC = 7 \sqrt{2} \: and \: BC = 7}

Which line represents the line of reflection in this diagram?<br><br><br> f<br> g<br> h<br> i
ss7ja [257]
The answer would be H, Because it is in the very center of both shapes which creates a line of symmetry which is used for the line of reflection

Hope this helped...

Omar is on a diet to lose some weight. He is losing weight at a rate of 2 pounds per week. After 6 weeks, his weight is 204 poun
bekas [8.4K]
Our basis would be 204 pounds. His original weight, 6 week ago, must be

204 + 2(6) = 216 pounds

But, we have to find the number of weeks having known the present weight (204 pounds) and the target weight (189). The linear equation would be

Target \ weight = \ Present \ weight \ -2(number \ of \ weeks)

189 = 204 - 2(number of weeks)
Number of weeks = (204-189)/2
Number of weeks = 7.5

The total number of weeks would then be 6 weeks + 7.5 weeks. It would take Omar 13 and a half weeks since he started his diet to reach his target weight.

Use the method of elimination to determine whether the given linear system is consistent or inconsistent. If it is consistent, f
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given information;

We will realize that in the 2nd & 3rd equation, the integer "x" is missing.

So, the correct equation should be:

4x - 2 + 6z = 0

x - y - z = 0

2x - y + 3z = 0

By rearrangement; if we switch equation (1) and (2)

x - y - z = 0      ----- (1)

4x - 2 + 6z = 0 ------ (2)

2x - y + 3z = 0  ------ (3)

If we multiply equation (1) and add that to  equation (2);

Then, we have:

x - y - z = 0

2y + 10z = 0

2x - y + 3z = 0

Also, if we multiply equation (1) by -2 and add that to equation (3), we have:

x - y - z = 0

2y + 10z = 0

y + 5z = 0

From above recent equation, if we swap equation (2) and (3);

x - y - z = 0

y + 5z = 0

2y + 10z = 0

Then, multiply equation (2) with -2, followed by adding it to equation(3);

Then:

x - y - z = 0

y + 5z = 0

0 = 0

Now, there exists no equation (3). Thus, let assume z = t to solve for x & y

y + 5z = 0

y = -5t

Similarly;

x - y - z = 0

x = -5t + t

x = -4t

Hence;

x = -4t; y = -5t; &  z = t
