I believe the correct answer is B because you obviously need to see if the person is still alive or not. I'm having second thoughts that it might be A.. I'm not sure which. Hopefully you get it right

Thus, it gives the body a chance to recover. For this reason, if you are using an AED, after activating it you must apply the electrodes and allow the AED to analyze your heart rate.
