Proteins are considered polymers and monomers because they can form long chain. Also, lipids are not monomer so, it can not attach more to form a polymer.
A polymer is a large molecule made of many repeating units(in a lineair or branched configuration).

____ first investigated the neural components regulating the brain's sleep-wake mechanisms in 1949
coldgirl [10]
The answer is Walter Hess

Hess manipulated the diancephalon of the brain of cats by inserting metal rods in the hypothalamus regions of the brain, where the diencephalon is located, and passing electrical current through the rods to the brain region. He noticed that the cats, among other complex behavioral changes, would curl up and sleep.

Assume that you have an illuminated suspension of Chlorella cells carrying out photosynthesis in the presence of 0.1% carbon dio
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

a. PGA down, RuBP up

Explanation:

RuBP, also known as Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate is a molecule that assist in he fixation of carbon dioxide in the Calvin Cycle or light independent reaction of photosynthesis.

RuBP is combined with carbon dioxide using the enzyme known as rubisco to form an short-lived intermediate product which divides to form two 3-carbon molecule structure known as 3-phosphoglycerate.

If the concentration of carbon dioxide is suddenly reduced, it thus means that the rate of production of 3-phosphoglycerate will reduce as carbon dioxide becomes a limiting factor. Hence, 3-phosphoglycerate's concentration will reduce while more RuBP will become available as a result.

Answer:

Answer: D; Irregular shape

Explanation: I'm not entirely positive but I do believe that the factor they're wanting you to notice in this question is the shape, as it states "deposition of the jagged particle". The shape affects the rate, as in the notes directly from the video it states "round particles settle more quickly".
