Answer: sum = 1200.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have two digits are numbers are given ,

So the only possible rounding or estimation will be done nearest to ones .

Rounding integers to nearest ones ,

87\text{ changes to }90\\34\text{ changes to }30\\

So,

Sum is given by

90+30=1200

So, our sum will be 1200.

87 + 34

87 rounded = 90

34 rounded = 35

90 + 35 = 125

or

87 rounded = 90

34 rounded = 30

90 + 30 = 120

when rounding you are only getting an estimate so it is not going to be exact however you do it.

-18 - 3 /4 v = 3
I need help with this who is smart enough to solve it
Blababa [14]

Answer:

v =-28

Step-by-step explanation:

-18 - 3 /4 v = 3

Add 18 to each side

-18+18 - 3 /4 v = 3+18

-3/4 v = 21

Multiply each side by -4/3 to isolate v

-4/3 *-3/4v = 21*-4/3

v =-28

Solve the system.
3x + 4y = 7
2x-y=1
What does x and y equal
emmainna [20.7K]

Answer:

x=1 y=1

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's use the elimination method.
3x+4y=7
2x-y = 1 (multiply both sides by 4)
8x-4y=4
3x+4y=7

(add both equations together)
11x=11
x=1
Plug x=1 into either of the equations
2(1) - y=1
2-y=1
2=1+y
y=1

There are 100 people in a wedding house, including children, men and women, and there are 100 pappadas to give with Sadya Te.
olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer:

Two possible sets of answers.

5 men, 11 women and 42 children, or

10 men, 2 women and 88 children

Selamat Sadhya!

Step-by-step explanation:

M = number of men

W = number of women

100-M-W = number of children

Total number of pappadas

5M+3W+(100-M-W)/2 = 100

Solve for W

W = (100-9M)/5 .......................(1)

Examine equation (1).

In order to have W as a whole number, M must be multiple of 5

Therefore M = 5 or 10

If M = 5, W = (100-45)/5 = 11 and children = 100-5-11 = 84

If M = 10, W = (100-90)/5 = 2 and children = 100-10-2 = 88
