179 and 180

consecutive numbers have a difference of 1 between them

let the 2 numbers be n and n + 1, then

n + n + 1 = 359

2n + 1 = 359 ( subtract 1 from both sides )

2n = 358 ( divide both sides by 2 )

n = 179 and n + 1 = 179 + 1 = 180

the 2 pages are 179 and 180

I think 73 because:

First I did '1,000 + x = 2,450'
Then I got 'x = 1450'
But then 20 can't go into 1450
So I just add another 10 to 1450 an got 1460
1460/20 = 73!
Hope this helps an is correct!!!

First, Diana scores 12 points in total with three arrows. On her second turn, she scores 15 points. How many points does she sco
kotegsom [21]

Answer:

Third turn point = 21 points

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

First turn point = 12

Second turn point = 15

Find;

Third turn point

Computation:

First turn point = 12

Assume;

Point for outer circle = a

Point for inner circle = b

So,

3a = 12

Point for outer circle = 4 point

Second turn point = 15

So,

2a + b = 15

2(4) + b = 15

Point for inner circle = 7

Third turn point = 3 x 7

Third turn point = 21 points

salantis [7]

Complete question

<em>18. GOLF Luis and three friends went golfing. Two of the friends rented clubs for $6 each. The total cost of the rented </em>

<em>clubs and the green fees for each person was $76. What was the cost of the green fees for each person? Define a </em>

<em>variable, write an equation, and solve the problem.</em>

The variable defined is "y", the equation is 4y + 2(6) = 76 and the value of the unknown variable is 16

Let the cost of green fees per person be y

If Luis and three friends went golfing, this means that 4 people went golfing.  The total cost of green fees for all of them will be $4y

If two of the friends rented clubs for $6 each, total amount spent will be $2(6)

The equation that models the statement will then be expressed as;

4y + 2(6) = 76\\

Solve for y

4y + 2(6) = 76\\4y+12 = 76\\4y = 76 - 12\\4y = 64\\y =\frac{64}{4}\\y = 16

The variable defined is "y", the equation is 4y + 2(6) = 76 and the value of the unknown variable is 16.
