The answer would be 2 7/20. I got that because you find the most common multiple of each of the numbers, I just went with 20 because you multiply the two denominators and get 20. Then you take the numerator 3/5= 12/20 1/4= 5/20 so then subtract the two whole numbers (4-2) which would be 2. You take the two new numerators and subtract them so it would be 12-5= 7 you keep the denominator and it would end up as 2 7/20 because you can not reduce it. Hope this helps!!

The value of x in the triangle is (a) 22

<h3>How to solve for x?</h3>

The complete question is in the attached image.

From the attached image of the triangle, we have:

\sin(45) = \frac{x}{22\sqrt 2}

Evaluate sin(45)

\frac{1}{\sqrt 2} = \frac{x}{22\sqrt 2}

Solve for x

x = \frac{22\sqrt 2}{\sqrt 2}

Divide

x = 22

Hence, the value of x is (a) 22

Using sigma notation write the geographic series: 6+12+24+48+96
Alika [10]

Answer:

$$\sum_{n=1}^{5} 6(2^{n-1}) $$

Step-by-step explanation:

6 + 12 + 24 + 48 + 96 =

= 6 + 6 * 2 + 6 * 4 + 6 * 8 + 6 * 16

= 6 + 6 * 2^2 + 6 * 2^2 + 6 * 2^3 + 6 * 2 * 4

= 6 * 2^(n - 1)

$$\sum_{n=1}^{5} 6(2^{n-1}) $$
