Why is the cause of the Great Depression still relevant? What makes the “great” depression so famous compared to other recessions in history?

It's because that was a time in our history when America has seen it's worse. It's when America was so in poverty that not even Washigton D.C even knew what was going on.

Because they made laws against most of how everyone dealt with the whole situation, the government has many rules and signs to never go back to that point because of how much it damaged the united states
