Dear dairy ,
Talking about a happy and fun event like wedding ceremony has always been a favourite subject for me because attending such happy occasion brings a lot of joy among the people while also witnessing a rare moment of the new beginning of life. Today, I would like to talk about one such wedding ceremony that I attended.
I would like to say that it was a “marriage from heaven”. Some even called it “marriage of the year” because thousands of people attended it.
I enjoyed this wedding ceremony because there were so many nice things that were going on at the ceremony while it also followed the traditional values and customs of our culture. In fact, I would say that it was a wedding ceremony, which was enjoyed by all kinds of people of all ages from all over the city. It was an expensive wedding ceremony, but the fun was worth it.
In her book, 'A good man is hard to find', Flannery O'Connor works with different linguistic tools to give the story a sense of dark humor. One of these tools, being the use of irony.
The first appearance of this technique is at the beginning of the book, when O'Connor explains the reason behind her grandmother getting dressed for a car ride. "In case of an accident, anyone seeing the dead on the highway would know at once that she was a lady."
The writer then keeps on building the story line around the judgment that the grandmother holds up to everyone she meets. After the car crash and the Misfit makes his appearance, O'Connor writes: ""Listen," the grandmother almost screamed, "I know you are a good man, you dont look a bit like you have common blood. I know you must come from nice people!.""
The irony in this is that the grandmother believes that she can properly asses people based on how they look or act, at first encounter, when in reality the Misfit is a sociopath that is measuring all of his actions to get what he desires.
I think A. it has been awhile since I have read that book but if a women doesn't care what she is wearing or what is the plans for a wedding and only cares if her family is there and in comfort by her family i'm sure that is love.
