<span>What a fascinating question! Just out of college, on my first job, I was called to the delivery room to assist the obstetrician in collecting a blood sample from the not-yet born fetus? scalp. I was nearly immobilized at the sight of the impending birth. Ever since that night, I have gotten goosebumps when witnessing a birth. It is certainly an amazing event, and pondering the entire journey from conception to birth is marvelous! Some of the material I have found is published by religious, political and anti-abotion sites. Neither Google Answers nor I endorse any of these sites. Such web pages were cited here for conception and gestation information, and not because of ideology.</span>

A mugger steals your wallet causing all of the following to happen EXCEPT ________.a.) increased metabolic rateb.) increased rat
Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

c.) increased glucose uptake to the liver from blood

Explanation:

During stressful conditions such as facing a mugger, the sympathetic system of the autonomic nervous system is activated. There is a release of stress hormones from the adrenal glands to produce the flight or fight response. One of the physiological events occurring during these conditions is the breakdown of glycogen into glucose in liver cells and the release of glucose into the blood. The release of glucose by the liver increases blood glucose levels. This is done to ensure glucose availability as fuel. There is no uptake of glucose from the liver cells under such emergency conditions.

Electrons that have been excited by light energy absorbed by a chlorophyll molecule Select one: a. are absorbed to the interior
weqwewe [10]
<h2>Answer is option "c"</h2>

Explanation:

  • The thylakoid membrane is a site of light-determined photosynthetic responses and is arranged into multi-lamellar and exceptionally stacked structures in cyanobacteria and chloroplasts. The fluid compartment encased by the thylakoid film is known as the thylakoid lumen.
  • The primary capacity of the lumen is thought to go about as a sink for protons and inorganic particles translocated during the light-driven photosynthetic electron move.
  • Then again, developing proof demonstrates that the thylakoid lumen is metabolically dynamic.
  • Hence, the answer is option c "jump to molecules in the membrane of the thylakoids".
