Distance the bus has traveled :

65 \dfrac{3}{5}  -  24\dfrac{1}{3}

= 65 \dfrac{3 \times 3 }{5 \times 3}  -  24\dfrac{1 \times 5}{3 \times 5}

= 65 \dfrac{9 }{15}  -  24\dfrac{5}{15}

= 41 \dfrac{4 }{15}  \text { km}
