The Old Regime began in the 15th Century.  It was a feudal, monarchial type of government where the Church and nobility are the dominant forces in society.  It was time of absolute monarchy and development of centralized government.  Though there was a period of prosperity, it would later lead to decline and revolution.

Question 14 (2 points)
Darya [45]

Answer: 2) Minimum Gas Mileage for Vehicles

Explanation:

The Elastic Clause gives the Federal Government the flexibility it needs to exercise powers that are not explicitly stated in the Constitution by giving them the power to pass laws that they believe will help them exercise their mandate as the Federal Government.

Seeing as the Constitution already gives the Federal Government the power to approve Foreign treaties as well as oversight over equipment for the Armed forces and powers over the declaration of war, the only law that can be created under the Elastic clause is a Minimum Gas Mileage for Vehicles.

What does the train symbolize
Aleks04 [339]

Answer: The answer is Nothing symbolises that first step into a land of adventure like a train journey. Maybe it's the idea of being able to travel across open country, seeing it from the windows, finding yourself in an entirely new place – often trains represent an inward journey as well as a real one.
