First, you add -3 to itself 7 times.
- 3 +  - 3  + - 3  + - 3 +  - 3 +  - 3 +  - 3 =  - 21
Then, add the distance he went to the distance he's already went.
- 21 +  - 15 =  - 36
Do -96--36 to find how far he is from the ocean floor.
- 96 -  - 36 =  - 96 + 36 =  - 60
So, he is 60m from the ocean floor

Help!!<br> What is the relationship between the corresponding angle bisectors BD and XZ?
Harrizon [31]

Answer:

XZ = 2.5 BD

Step-by-step explanation:

Comparing the two triangles,

\frac{BD}{BC} = \frac{XZ}{XY}

\frac{6}{8} = \frac{XZ}{20}

⇒ XZ = \frac{20*6}{8}

         = 15

XZ = 15

So that,

BD:XZ = 6:15

           = 1:2.5

Therefore, the relationship between BD and XZ is XZ = 2.5 BD.

Find the area of the circle to the<br> nearest tenth. Use 3.14 for it<br> (11 mm)
Nikolay [14]

Answer:

The area of the circle is 379.94 mm²

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this problem we need to use the area formula of a circle:

a = area

r = radius = 11 mm

π = 3.14

a = π * r²

we replace with the known values

a = 3.14 * (11 mm)²

a = 3.14 * 121 mm²

a = 379.94 mm²

Round to the nearest tenth

a = 379.94 mm² = 379.9 mm²

The area of the circle is 379.9 mm²

Given a circle with a radius of 2, which is the length of an arc measuring 75 degrees?
WARRIOR [948]
\bf \textit{arc's length}\\\\&#10;s=\cfrac{r\theta\pi }{180}\qquad &#10;\begin{cases}&#10;\theta=\textit{angle in degrees}\\&#10;r=radius\\&#10;---------\\&#10;r=2\\&#10;\theta=75&#10;\end{cases}\implies s=\cfrac{2\cdot 75\cdot \pi }{180}
