What is the surface area of the cone? (Use 3.14 for pi .)
forsale [732]

Answer:

794.42 in² (since I used the pi = 3.14159 , the result is slightly different,

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula: Given radius and slant height calculate the height, volume, lateral surface area and total surface area.

Given r, s find h, V, L, A

h = √(s² - r²)

r = 11 in

h = 4.796 in

s = 12 in

V = 607.7 in³

L = 414.7 in²

B = 380.1 in²

A = 794.8 in

Agenda: r = radius

h = height

s = slant height

V = volume

L = lateral surface area

B = base surface area

A = total surface area

π = pi = 3.14159

√ = square root

RoseWind [281]

The probability of red on the second spin 1/12. the probability of blue on the second spin 1/18. the probability of not spinning cyan on either spin is 25/36.

What is probability?

Simply put, probability is the likelihood that something will occur. When we don't know how an event will turn out, we can discuss the likelihood or likelihood of several outcomes. Statistics is the study of events that follow a probability distribution.

What is probability formula?

The ratio of favorable outcomes to all possible outcomes is used as the formula to determine an event's probability. Probabilities are always in the 0 to 1 range.

Probability = Number of Favorable Outcomes / Total Number of

we know the formula of probability;

probability=favorable outcomes/total number of outcomes

so for red:

P(red) = 3/6 = 1/2

so for blue:

P(blue) = 2/6 = 1/3

so for cyan

P(cyan) = 1/6

Now totally;

P( cyan then red) = 1/6 * 1/2 = 1/12

P(cyan then blue) = 1/6 * 1/3 = 1/18

P( no cyan on 2 spins) = (1/2+1/3)* (1/2+1/3) = 5/6 * 5/6 = 25/36

anygoal [31]
Wassup4, your questions is unsolvable because you said the school made $175 from the box office, yet you just said that the money from adult sales was $188 dollars and 175. But I'll solve it anyway. 175=188+3x. -13=3x x=-4 1/3. Technically, the school lost 4 1/3 students. Don't trust my calculation.
