The line g(x) has slope ...
  (change in y)/(change in x) = (-18 -(-20))/(1 - 0) = 2
so can be written in slope-intercept form as
  g(x) = 2x -20

The x-intercept of this line is at x=10.
  0 = 2x -20 . . . . the x-intercept is where g(x) = 0
  20 = 2x
  10 = x

The circle also intersects the x-axis at x=10, so that will be one point that is shared by the circle and g(x). A graph shows there is also another point of intersection, (6, -8).

Yes, the linear function g(x) will intersect the circle at 2 points with positive x-coordinates.

1. HI Because two parallel lines have to be on the same plane and never intersect.

2. Skew means the never intersect and they aren't on the same plane so it is GK and DH

3. Angle 3 corresponds because it is the bottom left and 7 is the bottom left.

4. 3 and 5 are same-side interior because they are both on the left side and both are inside.

Hope this helps!

Art [367]

Answer: (c)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

The sticker price is $40,000

The option price is $6000

Destination fees are $800

The base sticker price is 90% of the price i.e.

\Rightarrow 90\%\times 40,000\\\Rightarrow 0.9\times 40,000\\\Rightarrow \$36,000

The option price is 80% of included options i.e.

\Rightarrow 80\%\times 6000\\\Rightarrow 0.8\times 6000\\\Rightarrow \$4800

Dealers cost is given by the sum of three costs

\Rightarrow 36000+4800+800\\\Rightarrow \$41,600

Thus, option c is correct.
