<span> the kinetic molecular theory states that all matter is made up tiny constantly moving particles. in a gas they are spread out very far from each other, a liquid is closer together and a solid is packed tightly. when these materials are heated the particles begin to move faster making more friction which causes changes in state, such is call the heat if fusion and vaporization. </span>

How is mass calculated given density and volume? (1 point) Question 8 options: 1) Volume divided by volume 2) Sum of volume and
laila [671]

Answer:

3) Density multiplied by volume

Explanation:

Density:

Density is equal to the mass of substance divided by its volume.

Units:

SI unit of density is Kg/m3.

Other units are given below,

g/cm3, g/mL , kg/L

Formula:

D=m/v

D= density

m=mass

V=volume

So by rearranging this formula mass can be determine.

 d = m/v

m = d×/v

Unit of mass when volume in mL and ddensity is g/mL

m = g/mL×mL

m = g

Example:

density = 5g/mL

volume = 3 mL

mass = ?

m = d×v

m = 5g/mL ×3 mL

m = 15 g

Enter your answer in the provided box. Consider the reaction: N2(g) + 3H2(g) → 2NH3(g) Suppose that a particular moment during t
Mashcka [7]

Answer:

0.0253 M/s

Explanation:

From the reaction

N₂ + 3H₂ → 2NH₃

The rate of reaction can be written as

Rate = - \frac{d[N_2]}{dt} = - \frac{1}{3} \frac{d[H_2]}{dt} = + \frac{1}{2} \frac{d[NH_3]}{dt}

From the above rate equation we can conclude that the rate of reaction of N₂ is equal to one third of the rate of reaction of H₂,

So,

Rate of reaction of molecular nitrogen = \frac{1}{3} \times 0.0759

Upon calculation, we get rate of reaction of molecular nitrogen = 0.0253 M/s

The volume of 0.6305 kg of a liquid is 0.430 L. What is its density in g/mL
motikmotik

Answer: 1.466 g/mL

Explanation:

\frac{0.6305 \text{kg}}{0.430 \text{L}} \cdot \frac{1000 \text{g}}{1 \text{kg}} \cdot  \frac{1 \text{L}}{1000 \text{mL}} = 1.466 \,\frac{\text{g}}{\text{mL}}
