Explanation:

A diploid organism is one that has two set of chromosomes in its genetic formula. While a haploid organism has only one set of chromosome.  All the organisms that reproduce asexually are haploid while the organisms reproducing sexually are diploid.  

For example reproductive cells in humans are haploid cells with 23 chromosomes in each and non-reproductive cells  such as skin cells are diploid cells.
