You use long division when you divide polynomial by other polynomials. You use synthetic division to divide polynomials by binomials of the form (x-k).

Answer:

Long Division whenever you want divide a polynomial for another polynomial of lower degree.

Synthetic division works better when the binomial has the coeficient equals 1. In this case Synthetic division make it faster than Long division, even though it works for other cases too.

Step-by-step explanation:

Check the pictures below

To Check polynomial division, simply multiply the Quotient by the divisor then add the remainder.

(x²+10x+7)(2x-1) = 2x³+19x²+4x-7 show the steps
sasho [114]
Answer: See below

Explanation:
(x^2+10x+7)(2x-1) = 2x^3+19x^2+4x-7
2x^3-x^2+20x^2-10x+14x-7 = 2x^3+19x^2+4x-7

2x^3+19x^2+4x-7 = 2x^3+19x^2+4x-7

What is the Gfc of 3p^4 and 4p
MatroZZZ [7]

For this case we have by definition, the GFC of two numbers is given by the largest factor that divides both numbers without leaving residue.

We have the following expression:

3p ^ 4 and 4p

So, we look for the factors of 3 and 4:

3: 1.3

4: 1, 2, 4

Thus, the GFC of both numbers is "1".

The GFC of both expressions is: 1p = p

Answer:

p

How would I find the measure of y for this problem?
exis [7]
\bf \textit{area of a sector of a circle}\\\\
A=\cfrac{\theta\pi r^2}{360}\qquad
\begin{cases}
\theta=\textit{angle in degrees}\\
r=radius\\
----------\\
A=2.62\\
r=10
\end{cases}\implies 2.62=\cfrac{\theta\cdot \pi \cdot 10^2}{360}

\bf 2.62=\cfrac{\theta\cdot \pi \cdot 10^2}{360}\implies 2.62\cdot 360=\theta\pi \cdot 100\implies \cfrac{2.62\cdot 360}{100\pi }=\theta
