X² - d = (x + 9) (x + c)
c and d are integers.

Integers are whole numbers found in the number line. These can be positive integers or negative integers.

x² - d ⇒ this means that there is no middle term. The sum of the middle term is 0.

(x + 9)(x - 9) = x(x - 9) + 9(x - 9) = x² - 9x + 9x - 81 = x² - 81

c = -9
d = 81

x² + Mx + 18 = (x + g)(x + h)

if M = -11
x² - 11m + 18 ⇒ (x-9)(x-2) ⇒ x(x-2) -9(x-2)
x² - 2x - 9x + 18 ⇒ x² - 11x + 18

if M = 7
x² + 7m + 18 ⇒ (x + 9)(x-2) ⇒ x(x-2) + 9(x-2)
x² - 2x + 9x - 18 ⇒ x² + 7x - 18

Only Pat is correct.
M = -11
g = 9
h = 2

11. Write the balanced equation for the reaction of HC2H3O2, with Al(OH)3 to form H2O and Al(C2H302)3:
Kamila [148]

Answer:

74.36 g of aluminium acetate.

730.27g of aluminium acetate.

- to the nearest hundredth.

Step-by-step explanation:

Acetic acid is usually written as CH3COOH.

a. 6CH3COOH + Al(OH)3 ---> Al(CH3COO)3 + 9H2O

So 6 moles of acetic acid produce 1 mole of aluminium acetate.

Using the molecular masses

6*( 1.008*4 + 12.011*2 + 16 *2) g acetic acid gives (26.98+3(36.032+ 2*12.011)

348.228 g acetic acid gives 207.142 g Al acetate.

So 125 g gives (207.142 / 348.228) * 125

= 74.36 g of aluminium acetate.

b.

(26.98 + 3*16 + 3 * 1.008) g  of Al(OH)3 gives 207.142 g Al acetate

78.004 g gives 207.142 g Al acetate

275 g gives   (207.142 / 78.004) * 275

= 730.27g Al acetate.

Will mixes 1/4 gallon of milk and 1/2 gallon of chocolate syrup to make chocolate milk. Each serving is 1/16 gallon. How many se
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

12 servings!

Step-by-step explanation:

1/4 equals 0.25 gallons, 1/2 gallons is 0.5, so Will will have a mix of 0.75 gallons. If each serving is 1/16 and 1/16 equals 0.0625, divide 0.75 by 0.0625 = 12 servings.

Zach is filling his dogs bowl with water. Is it reasonable to say that Zach will need about 4 gallons of water?
xeze [42]
No, that would not be reasonable to say.

If you were filling some buckets, you could say 4 gallons, but we’re talking about a bowl and at the most that will take just a few cups.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need further explanation!
