scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

english: At the most basic level, economics attempts to explain how and why we make the purchasing choices we do. Four key economic concepts—scarcity, supply and demand, costs and benefits, and incentives—can help explain many decisions that humans make.

What is the history of sewing machines in 3 paragraphs
ivanzaharov [21]

Answer:

In France, the first mechanical sewing machine was patented in 1830 by tailor Barthélemy Thimonnier, whose machine used a hooked or barbed needle to produce a chain stitch. Unlike his predecessors, Thimonnier actually put his machine into production and was awarded a contract to produce uniforms for the French army.

Industrial sewing machines, in combination with the cotton gin, the spinning jenny, and the steam engine, made clothing production much easier and much cheaper. People could now afford to buy more clothing more often, marking the beginnings of the clothing industry that we see today.

Elias Howe patents the first practical sewing machine and threads his way into the fabric of history. French tailor Barthelemy Thimonnier patented a device in 1830 that mechanized the typical hand-sewing motions to create a simple chain stitch.

As asian and african nations gained independence in the 1950s, 1960s, and early 1970s, what was one main concern of the united s
Leviafan [203]

Answer:

a. newly independent nations would become communist or ally themselves with the Soviet Union

Explanation:

During the period between the 1950's and 1970's, lot of new countries emerged on the world map as they were gaining independence from the colonial powers, most of which in Asia and Africa. This was also the period of the Cold War. Both the Soviets and the Americans were putting in a lot of effort to get their influence and control over some of the new countries. The Americans feared that the Soviets will be quicker in that, and that lot of the newly formed countries will become communist, or at least would ally with the Soviets and be under their wing. Some of the newly formed nations indeed became communist and Soviet allies, and unfortunately for the people in those countries, the Soviets and the Americans were using them and their territory to wage their warfare for dominance in the world.
