I'm pretty sure that the answer would be B: minimized insects because the main point of fertilizer and pesticides is to make whatever you are eating clean and free from anything that could harm you if you eat it. It is definitely not A because having green grass is a good thing - it means that the grass is healthy. C, water pollution, could be an answer to this question, but it depends where you are putting the fertilizer and pesticides. If you are only putting them near plants and not in the water, then the answer would not be C. I ruled out all of the answers, so the only one that makes sense is B.
