A double replacement reaction occurs when aqueous potassium iodide and aqueous mercury (I) nitrate are mixed. What is the correc

t balanced chemical equation for this reaction? (1 point) KI(aq) + HgNO3 (aq) yields KHg(aq) + INO3(s) KI(aq) + HgINO3 (aq) yields KNO3 (aq) + Hg(s) KI2 (aq) + HgNO3 (aq) yields KNO3 (aq) + HgI2 (s) KI(aq) + Hg2NO3 (aq) yields KNO3(aq) + Hg2I(s)

The answer should be 2KI(aq)+Hg(NO3)2(aq) = 2KNO3(aq) + HgI2(s). This is a double replacement reaction, the valence of elements will not change. The HgI2 is not soluble in water.

NikAS [45]

Answer:

Results

The percent error between 20 and 20.5 is 2.5%

Explanation:

Percent Error = | (20.5 − 20) / 20 | × 100 = | (0.5) / 20 | × 100 = | 0.025 | × 100 = 2.5% (three decimal places)Percent Error = 2.5%

Consider the titration of 30.0 mL of 0.050 M NH3 with 0.025 M. HCl. Calculate the PH after the following volumes of titrant have
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

pH will always be less than 7

Explanation:

This is because NH3 is a relatively weak base and the resulting Acidic salt on titration might hydrolyse to form a buffer solution

PLEASE HELP WITH #1 AND #2 ASAP!! PLEASE
Grace [21]
1. Since the track is extended outwards from lane one, the other lanes will be a longer distance then lane one. So the runners in the lanes (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) will start ahead of the runner in lane one so they all run the same distance. 2. The displacement of runner 1 would be that since they are farther back then they will have to run top speed in order to catch up to the other runners, especially runner 8 since it seems like they are so far ahead. This isn’t necessarily the same for all the runners because runner 1 is the farthest back and is at a disadvantage since they are in the inner lane and not the outer lane. I reallyyyy hope this helped :)
