Answer: Are there many herbivores living in the biome ?

Explanation:

The Savannas and the temperate grasslands are very similar in nature. Their temperature and rainfall patterns are very much similar.

The biome is recognized by the temperature and amount of rainfall in the area. These two factors helps in determining the types of trees and types of animals found there.

Is there huge amount of rainfall, is there wet season thought out the year, is there dry season, less rain or more rain, average temperature are some of the useful questions to know about biome.

Choose the best scientific design to test the question “Which soil type results in the highest yield of tomatoes: clay soil or s
Alexxandr [17]
The best answer would be letter D. Compare the average number of tomatoes that are produced by 10 tomato plants that are grown in clay soil to the average number of tomatoes that are produced by 10 tomato plants that are grown in sandy soil.

It would be best to grow more than one tomato plant in each soil to truly represent the tomato's growth in them. To average the number of tomatoes yielded by each soil sample would also allow a sample that is more representative of the tomato plants than merely comparing single tomato plants.

The ________ is the decorated niche inside a mosque that indicates the direction of Mecca.
Aneli [31]

Answer:

The correct answer to the following question will be "Mihrab".

Explanation:

 • A semicircular niche throughout the wall of a mosque showing the qibla; that is, the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca, and hence the way that Muslims will face while they pray. Thus the wall into which a mihrab appears was the "qibla wall."
 • A chanter calling for people to pray. Fana is a religious figure; in fact, a few of Muhammad's hereditary predecessors, worshiped in Shiite Islam.
 • It is traditional, when entering a mosque, to remove somebody's shoes and put them on the entrance rack. This is accomplished out of respect and also to avoid soiling the interior floor of the prayer hall — prayer halls do not have chairs or benches, just row after row of carpets, aligned to face the holy sites of Mecca in Arabia.

Which of the following statements BEST defines vestigial structures? :
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

Structures that are still present but currently serve little to no purpose

Explanation:

Vestigial structures/organs are general defined as structures/organs that are present but poorly developed without any functional use in the present living organisms but thought to have been fully developed and functional in their ancestors.

Fully developed and functional organs gradually become less developed and non-functional across generations as the environment keeps changing and organisms found lesser use for the organs. An example includes the caudal vertebrae found in man which is kind of useless but thought to have been fully developed and functional in the ancestors of man - the monkeys.

Vestigial organs are often used as one of the morphological evidence of the evolution of living organisms.
