An ideology is a set of values and beliefs that someone adheres to. Some ideologies are based on negative and anti-social or even discriminatory values and certain adolescent types will be drawn to these ideologies, especially when faced with an identity crisis. This can lead to unhealthy, socially unaccepted and even criminal or violent behaviors.
