He is trying to find the volume of the big box. He does that by multiplying all the sides such as 10cm*8cm*12cm=960cm³. A 1 cm cube represents 1cm<span>³ in the big box. He will be able to fit 960 of the small cubes in the big box.</span>

What is the equation of this line
photoshop1234 [79]

Answer:

y = -\frac{4}{3}x + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the slope-intercept form to write the equation if the line of the graph given.

y = mx + b, where,

b = y-intercept, which is where the line cuts across the y-axis = 4.

m = slope = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1} = \frac{0 - 4}{3 - 0} = \frac{-4}{3}

Substitute m = ⁴/3 and b = 4, into the slope-intercept formula to get the equation of the line:

y = mx + b

y = -\frac{4}{3}x + 4

Number 3 plzzzzzzzzz
zhenek [66]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm pretty sure some smart guy in Greece noticed this but:

Since 4 + 8 = 12, thats the only option where 2 of the smaller sides add up to the big one. I don't know much of the reasoning behind this but my math teacher showed it to us by using Popsicle sticks to make triangles. You can try it if that helps you think about it. Apparently, if you add up the 2 smaller sides, then it HAS to be more than the biggest side.
