The price of the bond can determined using the pv formula in excel as shown below:

=-pv(rate,nper,pmt,fv)

rate is the semiannual yield to maturity on the bond i.e 14%/2=7%

nper is the number of coupon interests the bond would pay which is 10 years *2 =20 coupon interests

pmt is the semiannual interest payment:$83,000,000*12%*6/12=$4,980,000.00=$4.98 million

fv is the face value of $83 million

=-pv(7%,20,4.98,83)=$74.21  million

A microeconomist might study which of the following? how inflation changes over time for several countries how money supply aggr
Anastaziya [24]

Answer:

why wages for females are lower than for males in a particular labor market

Explanation:

Economics is the study of how people decide and how these decisions affect the world around them. Microeconomics focuses on particular markets, individuals and organizations, whereas macroeconomics focuses on the entire economy.

Response is “ why wages for females are lower than for males in a particular labor market” because there the micro-economist would focus on a particular market: the labor market, and tries to understand the wage gap between female and male workers.

The remaining options focus on large scale factors on a “macro” level and thus do not pertain to the study of “micro”economics .

using a perpetual inventory system, what is recorded when a customer returns a product and gets the cash back and the product is
likoan [24]

A credit to cash, a debit to sales returns and allowances, a credit to inventory, and a debit to cost of goods sold are all recorded.

Perpetual inventory, commonly referred to as continuous inventory, is an inventory management system that uses software to automatically and constantly record each stock movement (such as purchases, returns, consumptions, and write-offs), keeping the system current at all times.

This contrasts with the need to manually update the system on a regular basis when utilizing spreadsheets or paper-and-pencil alternatives.

Barcodes, POS systems, radio frequency identification, and real-time reporting are used by perpetual inventory systems like MRP, ERP, or WMS software to track inventory movements and build a virtual trail of each transaction occurring in the physical inventory. This makes it possible to perform extremely accurate real-time inventory accounting, giving the business a current cost of goods sold at all times.
