Answer:

The population will be 268

Step-by-step explanation:

For the first year you want to figure out how much it increased. To do so you want to find 13% of 200 which is 26. Then, add 26 to 200 to get the population in 1 year. (226)

For the 2nd year you need to find 13% of 226 which is 29.38. That mean that the the population is now going to be 226+29.38 (You may need to estimate since who can have .38 of a animal?  In the end you get 255 animals (29.38 rounded down to 29).

For the final year you find 13% of 255 which is 13.15 which estimates to 13. then you add 13 to 255 and get 268 animals. I am not sure about this problem since you get decimals. If it is wrong and the teacher tells you the answer, can you tell me? I really want to learn. ;) thanks a million.

schepotkina [342]
Evaluate A² for A = -3.

(-3)² = (-3) * (-3) = 9

Your answer is 9.

If the question is, however, evaluate A2, which is 2A, for A = -3, then the answer is:

2A = 2(-3) = -6.
