Rent, utilities, and repairs is a form of fixed cost for the daycare. Which means that their numbers would not be affected regardless of how many consumers the day care has each years.

Supplies and miscellaneous ( such as papers and toys) are considered to be variable cost. Which mean that their number would go up as the consumers increase in order to accommodate them.
