Which of the following is NOT a contributor to Japan's economic success after World War II?
zheka24 [161]
The correct answer here would be D - Japanese workers at all levels have guaranteed lifetime employment.

The reason why this is wrong and it didn't contribute to Japan's economic success following World War II was because they did invest a lot of its economy to technological innovations and there was a close cooperation between governmentand the private industry. Furthermore, there was a central bank promoting stability and preventing business takeovers. Having people that have a guaranted lifetime employment, however, can make people lazy and less motivated to work.

Ray Of Light [21]

They had no education and could not read or write as a result of the Slave Codes.

Job opportunities were extremely limited.

Often the only skills a freed slave had was in farming and even then they usually only knew how to do the manual labor, not the actual running of a farm.

Freed slaves had no money, clothing, etc.

What problem did working-class women face during the Industrial<br> Revolution?
likoan [24]

Answer:

Women worked long hours - sometimes 80 hours a week - often under horrible conditions. Remember, this was before the days of labor laws. The factories could basically set whatever policies they wanted, and workers were more or less powerless to do much about them. Conditions were often unsanitary and dangerous.
