The right answer is C. breathing.

Breathing is a physiological process that supplies the body with oxygen and releases it from carbon dioxide.

The pulmonary alveoli are located in the lungs and allow respiratory gas exchange between the internal medium (the blood) and the external environment (the air or the atmosphere).

If cell x enters meiosis, and nondisjunction of one chromosome occurs in one of its daughter cells during meiosis ii, what will
dimulka [17.4K]
Meiosis is  a process of cell division that involves the production of gametes. The process takes place in two stages meiosis i and meiosis ii resulting to four haploid daughter cells. Non-disjuction is a condition that results from the failure of separation of sister chromatids or the homologous chromosomes during cell division. This includes failure of sister chromatids to separate during mitosis or meiosis ii and failure of homologous chromososmes to separate during meiosis i. If it occurs during meiosis ii, then the result is a germline mutation in either the oocyte or the spermatocyte.

HOW MUCH WATER DOES A PERSON CONSUME EVERY 1 MONTH????????
Andreyy89
This is really a math question.  If a person is supposed to consume 8, 8 oz glasses of water in one day than you would multiply

8 x 8oz =64 oz.  than 64 oz x 30 days= 1920 oz in one month
because that is a large number you might want to break it down to gallons.

1920 oz divided by 128 oz (one gallon)= 15 gallons in one month.

What 2 properties of water make capillary action possible?
KiRa [710]

Answer:

Cohesion; the water molecules attract each other and are responsible for the surface tension of water.

Adhesion; the water molecule is also able to attract other non-water molecules. This allows water to be able to ‘cling’ to the sides of a capillary tube.

The complementary action of these two forces allows water to rise in a narrow capillary tube such as the xylem tissues of plants.

I think it’s c

Primarily, lactic acid fermentation differs from ethyl alcohol fermentation in that lactic acid, rather than ethanol, is the resulting by-product. When exposed to oxygen, lactic acid molecules break down into carbon dioxide and water.
